How your councillor voted: every recorded vote, 2022 to 2026
By Windsor News Desk | Updated Oct. 28, 2026
Every recorded vote of Windsor's 2022 to 2026 council, by member, with the City's minutes linked for each one.
Pick a member to see each recorded vote, how they voted, and the result, with a link to the page of the City's minutes it comes from. Members are listed alphabetically, with the outgoing mayor first.

What a recorded vote is
Most council decisions are not recorded by name. The minutes say only "Carried" or "Lost". When any member asks for a recorded vote, the Clerk lists who voted for, who voted against, who abstained and who was absent. This tool covers those recorded votes only, so it is not a member's full voting record, and a member with fewer recorded votes did not necessarily vote less.
Members who are new to council in the 2026 to 2030 term have no votes here yet. Their votes will be added as the City posts minutes from the new term.
How we checked
- We read all 192 minutes PDFs the City lists for council and its standing committees since Nov. 15, 2022 (the City posted three of them twice under different names; we count each meeting once). The text we read was taken fresh from each PDF.
- We found every place the minutes list members by name under "Aye votes", "Nay votes", "In favour" or "Opposed". That gave 104 recorded votes. The minutes use several wordings, which is why a search for the phrase "a recorded vote is taken" finds fewer.
- Some committee minutes PDFs print the same section twice. We found 6 repeated vote lists and counted each vote once.
- Names are shown as the City spells them on its member lists. Where the minutes misspell a name (for example "Jim Morrision" or "Fabio Constante"), we matched it to the member and kept the line number so you can check.
- Citizen members of committees vote too; they are counted in the results but do not have pages here.
- Results ("Carried" or "Lost") are printed as the minutes give them. For 10 votes, mostly clauses of a closed-session report, the minutes print no separate result, and we say so rather than guess.
