Asked and answered: which public offices reply to our questions
By Windsor News Desk | Updated Oct. 28, 2026
A standing scoreboard of the questions Windsor News sends to public offices, and how each one responded.
Windsor News sends questions on the record before we publish, with a reply date. This scoreboard counts how each public office responded. It shows replies as well as silence, and it is updated as answers arrive. Counts are from our public questions tracker, last updated Oct. 27, 2026.

How we score
- One question sent to several offices counts once for each office.
- Answered: the office answered what we asked. Replied, not every question answered: a statement or reply that left some questions open. Acknowledged only: a reply saying the office is looking into it, with no answer by our deadline. An automatic reply counts as no reply.
- Typical time to reply is the median number of calendar days from the day we asked to the office's first reply that answered at least part of it.
- We score public institutions only. Questions to election campaigns, candidates, companies, unions and individual politicians are on the tracker but not scored here.
- Deadlines are reply dates we asked for, not legal deadlines. Freedom-of-information requests run on legal clocks and are listed separately below.
