How council members voted: recorded votes this term

Every vote where the official minutes name members voting against, from Tuesday, November 15, 2022, to Monday, October 5, 2026: 188 meetings (78 City Council, 110 standing committee), 2,738 decisions, 209 with at least one recorded nay, 48 motions lost.

Votes on recommendations made in closed (in-camera) sessions, printed in the in-camera minutes attached to the Council minutes, are not included in these totals.

Windsor’s minutes name only members voting nay, or list names when a recorded vote is called. A nay is a vote against that motion as worded; it does not by itself show a member’s view on the wider issue. Members who left or joined council mid-term have fewer meetings. Standing committee votes are recommendations to Council.
