Stellantis says a limited-edition Dodge Charger marking Mopar's 90th anniversary will be built at Windsor Assembly Plant starting in spring 2027.
What's being built
The Mopar '27 package goes on two versions of the 2027 Dodge Charger: the R/T and the Scat Pack Plus. Stellantis says only 270 will be made, 90 in each of three colours: Bludicrous, Diamond Black and White Knuckle. The package adds Direct Connection carbon-fibre parts (front splitter, hood with a working scoop, rear spoiler), a cold-air intake, unique graphics, and a serialized under-hood plaque.
When and where
Production begins at Windsor Assembly Plant in spring 2027, according to the company's Oct. 27 release. Dealer orders begin in early January 2027.
Of the 270 cars, 243 are allocated to the U.S. market and 27 to Canada. Stellantis says Canadian pricing will be available closer to when orders open.
Mopar's history with the Charger
Stellantis says this is the fourth time a Canadian-built Charger has been given the full Mopar treatment since 2011. The car makes its show debut at SEMA in Las Vegas, Nov. 3-6.
