Windsor News sends questions on the record to public offices before we publish, with a date we would like a reply by. Our new Asked and answered scoreboard counts how each office responded. As of Oct. 27, 2026, it scores 30 questions.

How we score

One question sent to several offices counts once for each office. An automatic reply counts as no reply. Our deadlines are reply dates we ask for, not legal deadlines; freedom-of-information requests run on legal clocks and are listed separately. We score public institutions only, not campaigns, candidates, companies or unions. The scoreboard links every question to its row in our public questions tracker and is updated as answers arrive.

Each office on the scoreboard was sent the original questions on the record, with a reply date, before its outcome was recorded. A reply that arrives now will be added to the scoreboard.
