Kyle L. Stewart
Editor and publisher, Windsor News
Kyle L. Stewart is the editor and publisher of Windsor News, a local civic news outlet for Windsor, Ontario. Windsor News is published by Fenrir Productions, an Ontario-registered sole proprietorship he owns, in Windsor, Ontario.
Windsor News covers City Council, the budget, public agencies, elections and the services residents use every day. Stories carry his byline, and he reviews and approves every story before it is published.
How he works
- Facts are checked against primary sources wherever possible: council agendas, minutes and votes, budgets, staff reports, court and tribunal records, and official statements.
- Every story says where its facts come from and links the records when they are online. When a fact comes from another news outlet, the outlet is named.
- When something is not known, it is labelled Unclear rather than guessed. Campaign promises are labelled as campaign pledges, not City policy.
- AI tools help with research and drafting. They do not decide what is published, and every story is checked and approved by him before it goes out.

Windsor News is not affiliated with any candidate, party, campaign or other Windsor news outlet, and does not endorse candidates. Kyle L.
