OPP seize 20 guns, $70,000 in Belle River raid tied to Hells Angels support club
OPP say they seized 20 guns, about $70,000 in cash and suspected cocaine in an Oct. 1 raid on a Belle River home tied to a Hells Angels support club. Two Belle River men, 52 and 31, are charged and due in Windsor court Dec. 23.

Ontario Provincial Police say they seized 20 firearms, about $70,000 in cash and suspected cocaine in a raid in Belle River tied to a Hells Angels support club.
In a news release on Oct. 20, 2026, the OPP said its Biker Enforcement Unit began an intelligence-led drug trafficking investigation in September 2026 into people associated with a support club of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club.
On Oct. 1, 2026, officers executed search warrants at a home and on two vehicles in Belle River. The OPP's Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit and the Essex County Community Street Crime Unit assisted.
Police say they seized 19 rifles and shotguns, a prohibited handgun, a prohibited over-capacity magazine, bulk ammunition, about 1.5 oz of suspected cocaine, about $70,000 in cash, two outlaw motorcycle gang support club vests, and digital scales and drug packaging materials.
A 52-year-old Belle River man and a 31-year-old Belle River man face charges including unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000 and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. The 31-year-old also faces a careless storage of a firearm charge. None of the charges have been proven in court.
Both were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on Dec. 23, 2026.
