On Oct. 27, Windsor News emailed the Windsor Police Service Board three questions and asked for answers by 5 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 30:

What is the Board's policy on how quickly Windsor Police must respond to media and public questions, and is that policy being followed?

Will the Board direct Windsor Police to answer the four questions above, or explain in writing why it won't?

When will the Board answer our questions about the Bellaire investigation?

The four questions in the second item were sent to Windsor Police between Oct. 12 and Oct. 23. They cover the Kaili Horney charges, calls for service at 333 Glengarry Ave. and 920 Ouellette Ave., overdose calls in that area, and the timing of an Oct. 23 public appeal. We also asked that the letter be placed on the agenda as correspondence at the Board's next public meeting.

There was no reply from the Board or Windsor Police by the deadline. The question is listed on our [FOI and questions tracker](/foi/), and we'll update this story if an answer arrives.
