What police say happened
Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called at about 5:12 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11, to a collision at an address on County Rd. 20 in Kingsville. When they arrived, a vehicle had struck a house, and both the vehicle and the home were engulfed in flames. No one was found in the vehicle, which had been reported stolen.
About an hour later, at roughly 6:17 a.m., police went to a business on Main St. in Kingsville and tried to stop a vehicle. OPP say that vehicle, also reported stolen, deliberately hit a police cruiser and drove off. It then went back to the County Rd. 20 scene, struck a second cruiser that was holding the area, and hit a parked ambulance and a parked fire truck before leaving again. Two people were later found and arrested.

The 32-year-old Leamington woman faces six counts, including dangerous operation, criminal negligence and motor vehicle theft. Police released their ages and hometown only. The charges have not been proven in court.
