The Windsor Lancers host the Guelph Gryphons in the OUA football quarterfinal today at 1 p.m. at Alumni Stadium. The Lancers finished the regular season 6-2 and beat Guelph 27-23 in Guelph last Saturday.
On Friday night, Alex Cunningham scored twice and Max Donoso made 36 saves as Lancer men's hockey won 4-3 at Waterloo. Aaron Shaw and Connor Paronuzzi also scored, and Waterloo outshot Windsor 39-33, according to the OUA box score.
Friday's Lancer results
Men's volleyball won 3-1 at Western, coming back after losing the first set (21-25, 26-24, 25-20, 25-19).
Women's volleyball lost 3-2 at Western after winning the first two sets (25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 22-25, 8-15).
Women's basketball lost 74-61 to undefeated York at the Toldo Lancer Centre. Leah Tate scored 17 points, and Kali Grootenboer had 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Men's basketball lost 73-65 to York. Yashar Greaves-Saadat scored 19 points and Marodama Benjamin added 17.
Women's hockey lost 6-1 at Laurier. Emily Eikelboom scored Windsor's goal.
