If you're looking for a lunch plan today, this one feeds more than you.

UHC Hub of Opportunities is holding its 4th annual Pastabilities Luncheon today, Monday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ciociaro Club, 3745 N. Talbot Rd., Oldcastle. It's drop-in, so you can come any time in that window.

How it works

Tickets are $20. Your ticket gets you three pasta dishes from your choice of 25 local restaurants, and then you vote for your favourite dish. Takeout is available if you can't stay. UHC puts the event on with the Culinary Federation of Windsor.

Where the money goes

UHC says 100% of the proceeds go to its fight against hunger, including its food bank, community kitchen and Plentiful Harvest food rescue program. UHC is also the hub for the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association.

Last year, about 1,200 people came and the lunch raised $59,000.

How you can help

Grab a ticket at uhc.ca/pastabilities-2 or at the door, bring a co-worker, or order takeout for the office. Every ticket goes toward feeding neighbours who need it.
