Windsor votes Monday, Oct. 26, and advance voting starts Friday, Oct. 9 at the WFCU Centre, 8787 McHugh St. (in-person in the gym and drive-thru, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday). The City says advance dates, locations and hours are subject to change.
The mayor's race gets most of the attention, but every Windsor ballot has three parts:
Mayor: one race, citywide. Eleven candidates are certified.
Ward councillor: one race in your ward. There are 43 candidates across 10 wards, and no council seat was acclaimed.
School board trustee: which race you get depends on the school support listed for you on the voters' list. The City says people who never chose a school support are listed as English public by default.
