Thanksgiving weekend brings a mix of free and ticketed family events across Windsor-Essex, from a downtown Belle River street event on Friday night to a holiday Monday at a Leamington orchard. Friday, Oct. 9
Thanksgiving Stroll the Street runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Notre Dame Street in Belle River. The listing describes eight blocks of music and activities along the street.
Saturday, Oct. 10
Pumpkin Spice Fest is at Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, 1550 Road 3 East in Kingsville, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is indoors, with 16 artisan vendors and food vendors listed.
The LaSalle Autumn Market runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing, 970 Front Road. The listing includes live music and a pumpkin carving contest with cash prizes of up to $150. Early birds get in free with a virtual ticket.
