Late heartbreak at Alumni: Brock beat the Lancers men 2-1 on an 89th-minute goal. The women tied Brock 1-1 on Olivia Corazza's penalty kick. Women's hoops won 78-57 at Calgary in an exhibition. Golf is at the U of T Invitational today.

Men's soccer

Windsor's men's soccer team lost 2-1 to Brock at Alumni Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 4. Brock scored first in the 23rd minute. Issam Hassoun tied the game for Windsor on a penalty kick in the 71st minute. Brock's Noah Del Vecchio scored the winner in the 89th minute. Attendance was 160.

Women's soccer

The women's team drew Brock 1-1 on Senior's Day at Alumni Stadium the same afternoon. Olivia Corazza put Windsor ahead on a penalty kick in the 15th minute. Brock's Lexie Foster equalized in the 32nd minute. Attendance was 83.

Basketball and golf

Windsor's women's basketball team beat the Calgary Dinos 78-57 in an exhibition game on Oct. 4. The Lancers had lost 71-56 to UBC Okanagan the day before.

The golf team is at the University of Toronto Invitational at Islington Golf and Country Club on Monday, Oct. 5, with a tee time of 11 a.m.

Soccer returns Friday, Oct. 9, against Algoma at Alumni Stadium. The women play at 6 p.m. and the men at 8:15 p.m. The Windsor Spitfires' next home game is Saturday, Oct. 10, against Oshawa at the WFCU Centre at 7:05 p.m.
