Windsor Pizza Festival at City Hall Square: free admission, $2 slices

Eleven pizzerias were listed for the Sept. 26 festival, noon to 5 p.m. or until the pizza sold out.

The Windsor Pizza Festival runs Saturday, Sept. 26 at City Hall Square from noon to 5 p.m., or until the pizza sells out. Admission is free and slices are $2.

Eleven pizzerias are listed: Antonino's, Arcata, Armando's, Capri, Naples, OG Pizza, Oven 360, Professor Zaaa's, Sam's, Slices and Squares, and Spago. The organizer notes the lineup is subject to change.

Buy a slice at any five booths to fill a festival passport, then drop it at the Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island tent for a chance at an Ooni pizza oven.

Free first-come parking is at Lot 11, with the entrance on McDougall St. just north of Wyandotte. Live entertainment starts with a local media pizza toss at noon.
